Send a correction
A cordless catalog goes stale faster than almost any other kind. A flagship gets a new model number and the old one stays on shelves for a year. A bare tool that sat at one price all spring settles two tiers lower once the holiday promos start. A platform picks up a saw nobody here noticed. The quickest way the 54 entries on this site get fixed is somebody who owns the tool saying so.
What lands in this inbox
Mostly five things. A model number that moved on, and a listing still describing the tool it replaced. A torque figure in the wrong unit — DeWalt publishes UWO, the rest of the industry publishes in-lbs, we keep those apart deliberately, and when we slip it is caught here first. A street price that has drifted, which matters because prices here are typical street prices rather than MSRP. A tool filed under the wrong battery platform; LXT and XGT get crossed more often than any other pair, and a wrong platform is the single most misleading error this site can make, because the platform is the part you are actually committing to. And tools, brands, or platforms missing outright — the wall covers 9 brands and 10 battery systems, which is nowhere near all of them.
What happens after you hit send
The form emails the two people who run this site. There is no ticket system, no support desk, and nobody else to route it to. A correction that arrives with a link to the manufacturer's own spec page gets made fastest, because that page is the source we would go and find anyway. Spec and price fixes go in as soon as they check out; new tools and new platforms go in at the next catalog refresh, when all 54 entries get looked at together — the last one was July 31, 2026. If it turns out nobody publishes the number you are asking about, it comes out of the entry rather than getting estimated: 17 of the 54 tools here show no owner rating for exactly that reason, because we could not verify one at a real retail listing.
What we can't do for you
We don't sell tools, service them, or hold warranty records, so a dead trigger or a pack that stopped taking a charge has to go through the brand's own service network — that is the one route that exists. We don't take money for placement or for a kinder write-up, from a manufacturer or anyone else, so pitches along those lines go unanswered. And there is no test bench here: no torque rig, no shop, no lab. Specs come off published spec sheets, sentiment comes from public owner discussion and is labelled as such, and a tool sent to us would sit in a hallway.
Your address is not a battery platform: it powers one reply and there is no second thing on the shelf that takes it. It answers you, goes on no list, and reaches no tool brand or service network.
